Gliderol Garage Doors

Gliderol is an Australian owned company which has been making roller doors since the 1960's. Based in the U.K. in County Durham in the North East of England since 1986, Gliderol manufacture made-to-measure (at no extra cost) quality roller doors. In the year 2000, Gliderol moved to a new purpose-made factory which has capacity to produce up to 6000 doors per month. All doors come in a range of colours with a 10 year guarantee on the finish. All doors can be manual or automatic.

Gliderol doors maximise the drive through width as they are fitted onto the rear face of the brick pillars. No timber posts to reduce width and involve maintenance. They roll up into the space at the back of the lintel, freeing up the ceiling space. They lift vertically so you can park up to the door saving valuable drive space. Ideal for short drives.
Gliderol doors come with full height galvanised steel guides, dual locking bars and a reinforced aluminium bottom rail giving good security. The bottom weatherseal prevents leaves etc. blowing under the door.

The Glidermatic remote control drive unit is housed entirely within the roll making it extremely quiet. The Glide-A-Code transmitter works on rolling code technology, with the handset transmitting a different code for every operation. This ensures no other handset can activate the door. The Glidermatic drive unit automatically reverses if it senses an object in the way, giving peace of mind safe operation.
